Thompson groaned, putting a hand to the back of his head to give it slight support as he forced himself to open his crimson eyes, flinching at the glare of the sunlight. The first thing he noticed, was his elder brothers opening their eyes beside him, and then, all three looked up to see the source of the voice. Kurea was on her knees, staring at the three intently, her large eyes full of concern for them. The triplets looked around quickly, eyes darting back and fourth, scouting the perimeter around them, and realizing that they were quite a few miles from the manor, and that they were on a cliff above a pond. And then, Kurea turned around. She was crying. The person who never ever cried, was crying. The person who never did anything else than grin stupidly, was crying. The person that had not a single care in the world, was never in any pain at all whatsoever, who was a happy go lucky idiot, was crying. Thompson would never admit it, but he didn’t think that Kurea was a fake. Off course he still didn't like her in the least, but at least she wasn't as horrible as his master or any of the other humans that the three demons had come across. And he pretended he didn't, but he knew that she wasn't a fraud. He had once tasted her blood on his master’s command when she had cut herself. He remembered how he and his brothers almost burst out laughing at their human master’s idiotic ignorance. Their master had thought that they could heal the wound.
